Gold Friends at Home brings creative enrichment and joyful companionship to women in their golden years through meaningful, engaging, and guided activities—right in the comfort of home.
Each one-on-one visit focuses on fun and conversation, helping to combat isolation through comfort and connection while making days brighter. We serve women who prefer to enjoy activities and connection without leaving their homes.

Eggshell Decorating
This seasonal activity is offered through March 31.
Activity: Decorating six eggshells using a variety of materials. Finished eggs may be displayed or given as thoughtful gifts.
Duration: 60-minute visit (including set-up and clean-up)
Cost: $55. Includes friendly companionship, guided instruction, project assistance, and all materials.
Card Making
Activity: Crafting four handmade cards to send or display.
Duration: 60-minute visit (including set-up and clean-up)

Bracelet Beading
Activity: Creating a beaded bracelet to wear or share.
Duration: 60-minute visit (including set-up and clean-up)

Painting on Canvas
Activity: Painting on a blank 8" × 8" canvas that results in a masterpiece to treasure.
Duration: 90-minute visit (including set-up and clean-up)

Coloring
Activity: Peaceful zen coloring designs in a coloring book; completed pages are yours to keep.
Duration: 60-minute visit (including set-up and clean-up)
Cost: $40. Includes friendly companionship, guided instruction, project assistance, and all materials.
Scrapbooking
Activity: Organize photos and create albums to capture memorable moments to share with loved ones.
Duration: Customized based on project needs, including sorting, dating, and arranging photos in albums.
Cost: $35 per hour. Includes friendly companionship, guided instruction, and project assistance. Materials are not provided. Creative Memories supplies can be ordered in advance, if desired.
This activity is led by an Independent Creative Memories Advisor with 20 years of photo-preservation experience.
Jigsaw Puzzles
Activity: Work a 200-piece jigsaw puzzle to keep. If not completed during the visit, it can be completed independently later.
Duration: 60-minute visit (including set-up and clean-up)
Cost: $50. Includes friendly companionship, guided instruction, project assistance, and all materials.
Games
Activity: Give your brain a boost with fun, mindful recreation. Choose from a selection of board and word games, and enjoy laughter, connection, and friendly competition.

Recipe Organizing
Activity: Organize treasured family recipes into a collection that’s easy to access, enjoy, and share.
This activity is led by an Independent Creative Memories Advisor. There are two options below--Option 1 includes materials, and Option 2 does not.
Option 1: Recipe organization project that includes the Creative Memories Cooked with Love Kit.
Duration: 90-minute visit (including set-up and clean-up)

Meal Companionship & Nutritional Guidance
Activity: Sharing mealtime and discussing solutions to dietary challenges. Nutritional questions answered and guidance provided by a master's degree-level nutritionist.
Duration: 60-minute visit

Memoirs
Activity: Stories shared aloud are captured by a companion and timelessly preserved to create a lasting treasure for the family to enjoy for years to come. Thoughtful prompts are provided to guide storytelling.
There are two options below--Option 1 includes an audio keepsake, and Option 2 includes a printed journal keepsake.
Option 1: 90-minute visit* with audio keepsake
Cost: $70. Includes friendly companionship, guided instruction, project assistance, and a flash drive containing the memories in the storyteller's voice.

Activity: Companionship with no activites and no agenda. Time is spent visiting to help combat loneliness.
Duration: 60-minute visit
